Luzius Schuler is a Swiss pianist, keyboarder, composer and producer. Born in 1989, he comes from a generation of jazz musicians who understand jazz not as a genre but rather as an approach to music making, a very individualistic creative approach. He moves effortlessly between an acoustic setting and electronic sound generation.

Born in a musical family, Luzius Schuler found his way to the piano at the age of 9 and. At 19, he went on to study piano and composition with Colin Vallon and Django Bates at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. In addition to his busy international concert activities with his bands, he is also active as a theater musician, works with video artists on the interface of music and images, records and produces music and organizes studio- and living room-concerts. Luzius Schuler has received several awards for his work. He lives in Bern.
